The PMI North India Chapter is a non-profit professional organization for the project management profession with the purpose of advancing project management. ==Overview== The North India Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) was founded on 25 May 2002, as an autonomous, non-profit, tax-exempted, membership association dedicated to the profession of project management. PMI is internationally recognized as the official certifying body for the global project management community through practices that address appropriate local, national and global requirements and standards. PMI North India chapter as a non-profit professional organization is dedicated to supporting its members and promoting the Project Management principles in the North India region. It offers opportunities to its members and non-members to network, share professional experiences, earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) through various events organized from time to time.
